We are dedicated to the expert delivery of highly effective, online instruction of the Arabic language to beginning students in a variety of configurations, from the small group setting to one-on-one private tutoring.

Our methodology seeks to cultivate maximum success in developing all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

About Dr. Gaye D. Walton-Price

Dr. Gaye D. Walton-Price, affectionately referred to by her students as Ustaadha Gaye, is passionate about Arabic language and about teaching it effectively.  She has been engaged in learning and teaching Arabic now for more than 20 years, having earned her Ph.D. in Arabic language and linguistics in 1990 from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. 

She has travelled, lived, studied and taught extensively in Egypt and Tunisia. With over 15 years’ college and university level teaching experience at Cal State Sacramento, UC Davis, University of the Pacific, Contra Costa College, UC Berkeley, Zaytuna College, Penn State University, and Berkeley City College, Dr. Price is intimately aware of the challenges that come with learning Arabic, and is invested in supporting your educational goals through time-honored learning methodologies in a fun and positive online environment.

Dr. Price currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. When she is not educating her students, she enjoys international travel, reading a good book, gardening, and riding her bicycle.
